Polyacrylamide (PAM) is a linear polymer, which can be divided into dry powder and colloid. According to its average molecular weight, it can be divided into three types: low molecular weight (< 1 million), medium molecular weight (20 ~ 4 million) and high molecular weight (> 7 million). According to its structure, it can be divided into non ionic type, anionic type and cationic type.
Polyacrylamide is a white granule and it is a linear high molecular compound which is soluble in water. It is non-toxic and odorless, easily absorbs moisture, is insoluble in ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents, has positive charge active groups on molecular chains, and has excellent flocculation effect.
