Polyaluminium chloride PAC is much simpler than the traditional method in sewage treatment. It has good low-temperature coagulation treatment efficiency and sedimentation efficiency. It can obviously improve the separation efficiency of solid and liquid, improve sedimentation filtration and sludge dewatering performance, thus shorten the residence time of sedimentation tank, increase water yield, and so on. An important advantage is that the residual aluminum content in the water treated by PAC is very low. The residual aluminum content in the water treated by traditional aluminum sulfate is generally 150-255 ug/L, while the residual aluminum content in the water treated by PAC is only 40-55 ug/L.
