SLEO® HPMC (Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose) is also called as hypromellose. SLEO® HPMC products are derived from highly pure refined cotton and are specially made of etherification under alkaline conditions. They are completed under automated monitoring and don’t contain any active ingredients like animal organ or fat. SLEO® HPMC products are ionic cellulose ethers. They are slightly off-white to beige odorless and tasteless powders in appearance.
SLEO® HPMC products are used primarily in various construction materials like tile adhesives, cement mortar, cement renders, joint fillers, cement based plasters, self-leveling flooring compounds, external insulation and finish systems (EIFS) where it is used as a rheology modifier, thickener, binder, film former and water retention agent.
