Sea water can also be heated by steam, filtered by sand filter, and concentrated by ion exchange membrane electrodialysis to obtain brine (containing 160-180g / L sodium chloride). After evaporation, salt gypsum is precipitated and centrifuged. More than 95% sodium chloride (2% moisture) is obtained and then dried.
