       tasteless.It is a typical ionic halide, white at room temperature, hard fragments or 

       particles.Common applications include brine, road ice melt and desiccant for 

       refrigeration equipment.

     dissolution of calcium chloride is -176.2 CAL /g). The aqueous solution is slightly acidic.Soluble

     in alcohol, acetone, acetic acid.When interacting with ammonia or ethanol, CaCl2·8NH3 and

     CaCl2·4C2H5OH complexes are generated, respectively.
